Time once more for an update! It’s been over a month since our last one, so here’s what we’ve been up to. Debby is now in her 6th month and doing very well. She’s showing more and more every day now, which is very exciting, and glowing too of course as pregnant women tend to do!!! Only 3 more months to go now, so we’re really starting the feel the time creeping up on us! We still feel like we have so much to do before the little one arrives, but we’re getting there one step at a time.
For those of you who didn’t know, we were back in Montreal from March 29th to April 7th and had a great time there. We were there to celebrate our niece Eva’s baptism, Laura’s birthday, and a special surprise baby shower for Debby. It was so nice to see everybody again and we’re very grateful to everyone for all your wonderful gifts! We ended up returning to Vancouver with twice as much luggage as when we arrived! We miss everyone in Montreal very much, but now that we’re having a baby it means that all of you will have to come to Vancouver and visit us! The same goes for all of you in other parts of Canada and the world! So now that we have all this baby stuff (clothing, toys, etc, etc…) our place is starting to feel rather small. We still haven’t bought the baby’s crib yet and we’re running out of room! Anyway, that’s life in Vancouver, we’ll make due with the room we have (at least for the first one, but once a second baby is on the way it’ll be time to move!)
We started our prenatal classes this week and it was quite interesting. It’s nice to meet with other couples who are also having their first child around the same time as us. The little guy is moving a lot now! Debby feels him quite regularly and I can even feel his little punches and kicks. He’s gonna be a little kung fu master from the feel of it! Or maybe a basketball star… I guess now I can start to dream about him becoming all the things that I wanted to be growing up!!!
Well that's it for now. We've included a photo of Debby at approximately 6th months pregnant. Be sure to check in again regularly for our next update, we'll post again soon!
*Quick side note: Go Habs go, all the way to the cup!!! And also, lets go Raptors!!!
Danny & Debby.
P.S. I’m sure most of you know about grandpa Colangelo having gone for surgery. I’d like for all of us to keep him in our heart and our thoughts. Perhaps we can all give him a little positive energy and love to help him get better soon.
